Situated at the top of the town opposite Jackson-Stops & Staff, the Spice Club was opened in 1999 by Mabs and his partner Shue and they also have the Spice Club in Tunbridge Wells and the Alishan in Tonbridge.The style of cooking is an amalgam of the legendary 200 year old Dum Pukt cuisine created by the Moghuls (Turk Monguls by origin and Muslims by religion) - the so-called mythical "Food of Kings"- and the 'favourite' Indian dishes of the last 30 years.
The Spice Club caters for all tastes, whether you prefer the more traditional dishes or wish to be more adventurous, and welcomes all members of SRFC to their restaurant. This includes large parties who hopefully may have a reason to celebrate a recent success on the rugby field and the Spice Club can also provide outside catering, whether it be at our clubhouse or elsewhere.
