Sevenoaks struck gold in 2009 when ‘Doddy' turned up on the door step. An elusive and powerful runner, his try scoring pedigree is second to none and he instantly became a fixture on the 1st XV team sheet.
A player famed for his bone shuddering tackles, ‘Doddy' started playing rugby at Sutton Valence School in Maidstone, before joining Cranbrook RFC and representing the Scottish Exiles. He followed in the footsteps of other Sevenoaks alumni Tristan Roberts and Luke Harding by moving from Sutton Valence to UWE Hartpury College, playing for the Freshers and 3rd team before sustaining a knee injury which cut short his University playing career.
A man who is ‘looking forward to gaining promotion to London 1 with Sevenoaks', Matt invites Dizzee Rascal for musical entertainment at his dinner party, Heston Blumenthal for ‘some awesome food combinations', Colonel Sanders so he can thank him ‘for putting something on chicken that is amazing to eat'.
