Countdown to the season!

The countdown to the season is now well underway so, whether you’re a player, a parent or a supporter, its time to put a few key dates in your diary.

On Saturday 30th August, there will be two warm-up friendly matches against Tonbridge Juddians, at 1stXV and 2nd/3rdXV level: venue, Hadlow College Sports’ Ground (A26). The 2s/3s will kick off at 13.30, the 1st XV at 15.00.

The following week (Saturday 6th September) will again see two warm-up games, this time against Maidstone, at Knole Paddock. Kick-off times will be 14.00 (2nd XV) and 15.30 (1st XV). There will a barbeque for players and spectators.

Sunday 7th is registration day for the Sunday section, a massive day for the club.

The league season starts on September 13th with the 1st XV away to Lordswood and the Extra 1st away to Canterbury. The As, Bs and Acorns all get their seasons underway with friendlies, while, on the 14th, training starts for the Sunday section.

On Saturday 20th September, league action comes to the Paddock in a big way with the 1s, 2s and 3s all at home, to Eastbourne , Maidstone and Maidstone respectively. This should be another massive day, so please come along. Nando’s will be providing an all-day “Season Starter” barbeque - also the first big fund raiser of the season and something you MUST attend!. The BXV will also be starting their league season, away to Maidstone. Sunday 21st September sees the Acorns in action at the Chobham festival.
