Introduction of bonus point

This season the RFU have introduced the incentive of a bonus point in league games for teams scoring 4 tries or more and teams losing by 7 points or less. It is hoped this will encourage teams to play attacking rugby and losing teams to keep compete ting for the full 80 minutes. Also it will make end of season who goes up / down more interesting as a win and relying on points difference may not now necessarily be the deciding factor.
It is not known at this time if the bonus point will be introduced below 1st team level as yet.
