2011/12 Season: Under 6s
There are no fixtures against other clubs to begin with so sessions (weather permitting) take place at Knole Paddock, starting at 10.30am and finishing at Midday.
Look out for the details published on the white board by the entrance to the Clubhouse for where on the Paddock we will be based. If we are at Lady Boswell's School, where no dogs are allowed, you enter via the gate to the top right of the 1st XV pitch.

The season will take children through the RFU's Introduction to Rugby award, introducing them to the basic skills of 'tag rugby' (the non-contact form of the game played until the Under 9 level).
We create a fun environment in which to run around on a Sunday morning, picking up skills and techniques along the way.
Children in Reception: Sevenoaks RFC encourages both boys and girls to become involved in rugby from a young age and in developing the social and team skills that make for a succesful year group. With that goal in mind, we do take in a limited number of children who are in Reception (ie who will be five during the coming school year), to take part in the same schedule of activities undertaken by the Year 1s in the Under 6s. The decision to include a child who is in Reception will be down to the parents believing that the child is ready, the coaches concurring with that decision and then monitoring the child's progress in the sessions.
