Sevenoaks U16s notched their 2nd win of the new season with a bruising win away at Beccehamians on Sunday.
A try from centre Beale after beating several defenders converted by Saunders opened their account after an initial 15 minutes of dominance. Becs big pack replied with a blindside drive touchdown & with Oaks starting to turn over too much ball added 2 more after a high ball defensive disaster & their winger scoring in the corner for a 17-7 half time lead.
Sevenoaks finally awoke from their slumber with No 8 Hadi driving over from a ruck 20m out to bring the visitors back to within 1 score before a quick tap penalty by Ayling released Owen for a try to draw level. Beale settled matters when again cutting a fine running line beat 3 defenders to touchdown for a 22-17 victory.
