U16s storm to victory
Sevenoaks u16's maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3rd consecutive & comprehensive away victory at Beckenham on Sunday.
Despite the hosts touching down for the first & their only score of the match from a forward drive, Oak's thereafter were in the driving seat .With a lengthening injury list, the depth in strength of the squad was evident with outstanding handling & offloading skills especially considering the relentless & difficult wet weather conditions. 2nd rower Josh Pettit was the pick of the forwards with an outstanding display in the lineout & loose while Charlie Nohre in the centre was constant attacking threat with ball in hand.
8 tries were scored in total by Jasper Thompson ( 2 ), Charlie Nohre ( 2 ) Josh Pettit, George Beale & Sam Tan with fullback Ed Ross's touchdown being the pick of them all . Ollie Shirtcliff (2) & Dominic Saunders added the conversions for a final scoreline of 46-5.
