Bullocking Beccs batter Oaks
The Oaks travelled to Kent Champions Old Beccehamians and soon found themselves facing a confident fast-starting side who scored regularly throughout the first half. As the half progressed, the Oaks began to match Beccs physically and make the contest more even. Despite a 27-0 deficit, the Oak started the second half purposefully and after a kick ahead by Alex Devine, Rob Walker collected the ball for a score under the post that Tommy Fuller easily converted. Another try for Beccs made the final score 37 – 7 but served to sharpen the Oaks focus for the upcoming Kent Cup preliminaries.
