No rest for Crows in Oaks
Sevenoaks U15 travelled to Crowborough looking to build momentum towards the end-of-season cup competitions and came way with a comprehensive victory. The Oaks scored regularly without reply in the first half with tries for Ben Wombwell, Connor Cooper (2) and prop Josh Marchant who ran in a try from almost half way comfortably outpacing the cover defence. With kicking duties shared around, Sevenoaks turned around 28 – 0 ahead.
Crowborough rallied in the second half with two scores but the Oaks continued to control the game with man-of-the-match, Ruaridh McKay, stopping numerous Crowborough attacks and winning back possession from which Cooper scored his hat-trick try, Marchant his second and Rob Walker and Ben Woodmanse one each to give Sevenoaks a comfortable 50 – 12 victory.
