Sevenoaks Under 11's share the plate at Upminster

The first game of the pool stages was against Medway who started the brighter and early Sevenoaks complacency led to a try by Medway. Sevenoaks clawed back to a 1-1 draw by the end of the game playing with more more urgency. Next up were Dartfordians and Sevenoaks took the game 4-1 with a clinical performance. The following game against Bishops Stortford was by far Sevenoaks best game of the season so far, with attacking rugby on all fronts to take a well deserved 2-0 victory. The final pool match against Chingford was lost 1-0. Sevenoaks held Chingford for much of the game but eventually the size difference told with a crash try mid way through the second half. In the Plate final we were drawn against the hosts Upminster and both sides played a very open and fast game. At the end of time despite several close chances the scores were tied 0-0 and we agreed to share the trophy.
