Nohre hatrick sparks the backs!
Sevenoaks U17s qualified for the quarter finals of the Kent Cup, beating an ill disciplined Gravesend side 50 - 12.
After a patchy first 15 minutes, the weather cleared up and the ball was
moved around with confidence: Saunders opened the socring, scuttling over in
the corner.
An interception converted try for Gravesend briefly sitrred the crowd, but a
hatrick for impressive winger Nohre, two from centre Foley quelled any
thoughts that was going to be anything other than a comprehensive thrashing.
Hadi crashed through from no 8 and Freddie Tan scorched down the wing for
his debut try for the club. Saunders converted 5. Some inexcusable ill
disciplined play from the Gravesend pack, not helped by unsavoury and
unnecessary comments from the home support held up play and the game petered
out.
Next Sunday, 6th December, Sevenoaks host GD Direito from Portugal - KO
12.30pm.
